Yes, bed rest is good for piles. A poor night’s sleep might result from hemorrhoids making it challenging to get comfortable.
In most cases, hemorrhoids may be treated at home with primary personal care and lifestyle changes. Take a few simple steps to ease your pain and suffering.
Push hemorrhoids back in
It is very uncommon for hemorrhoids to protrude from the anus, especially after a bowel movement. Hemorrhoids may be reintroduced gradually if you pass stool before going to sleep.
It’s possible that a blood clot or hemorrhoid will not get caught outside of your rectum since the vein is now within your rectum.
Take a bath before bed.
During a sitz bath, you sit comfortably in warm, shallow water. Feces may become trapped in the craters of hemorrhoids, causing itching and irritation of the skin.

Hemorrhoid cleansing pads are another option for relieving discomfort when using the bathroom. Skin irritation and soreness may be alleviated by using witch hazel cleansing pads.
With the use of lotions and cleaning pads, itching may be relieved. Your skin may be irritated and inflamed as a result of scratching.
Clean and cozy pajamas are essential for a good night’s sleep.
After treating your hemorrhoids, change out of your pajamas and put on a fresh pair of underwear. An undergarment liner may be helpful in drying and absorption of any extra cream. Your abdomen and anus will be relieved as you sleep in loose pajamas.
Taking over-the-counter pain medication might help numb the area if hemorrhoid cream doesn’t trick. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDs, may alleviate pain and inflammation. However, if you have hemorrhoids causing discomfort, you should immediately consult a doctor.
